First Internship

Aurora Fashion Head Office -Coast Website Assistant

I worked at the Head Office for 7 weeks and had an amazing time. I met some great people and learned a lot about retail and also about myself. When it was time to leave I really didn’t want to leave as I realised working in an e-commerce department was the right job for me but of course I still have another 2 years left at university. I learnt so much about how the Coast website is run and helped with online visual merchandising. I helped out at the photo shoots and a competition event which I loved. I attended e-commerce and marketing meetings which were very interesting and it showed me a great insight into marketing and e-commerce. Everyday different tasks had to be done I didn’t mind doing the boring tasks or the tasks that took long to do as I was enjoying it so much the work was fine.

Second Internship

Liberty London Department Store Head Office -Online Content Intern

I have completed my 4 week internship at Liberty’s and it has been great. I have been uploading products to the liberty website, writing descriptions, attributing products, researching product descriptions and sending off competition prizes. Liberty is a great company and even though it’s small it’s a good thing as you are right next to the press team, csm team and marketing team so you can hear and see all the gossip and interesting work done by other departments.

Third Internship

Somerset House Intern-London Fashion Week/Weekend

Just finished working a couple of days at London Fashion Week and Weekend. I helped out on the entrances showing people where to go and get their passes etc. I gained lot’s of experience with meeting new people and helping the general public with any enquires. I will be helping out in the future at Somerset House as it’s a great opportunity.
