Just spent some time over Christmas in Miami on a family holiday staying at a hotel near a mall and with the ocean just down the road. Some places I went to were, Denny’s for the Grand Slam for breakfast my favourite place to go. Five shopping malls I managed to get around in 4 days. The Everglades I have been before but didn’t see any alligators but this time I saw two and got some great photographs which will be in my portfolio soon. My dad and brother and my sisters boyfriend went to a shooting range but I waited outside as I was too scared to fire a gun. On new year’s eve we just stayed in the hotel as the park we were going to go to was too packed and we were so tired from all the shopping. Some places we went to were, Walmart, Target, T J Maxx, Best Buy, Dolphin Mall, Adventurer Mall, Miami International Mall, Sawgrass Mills Outlet, Red Lobster, TGI Fridays, Miami Beach and many more places.

As you all probably know that I love America and have been there about 9 times since 2000. For the last couple of years every time I go some kind of crime happens last time I went a man who was on america’s most wanted list got shot by a policeman outside my hotel and all the roads were closed off. This time a man got shot next to Miami Beach as he left a pizza place with a gun in his hand and a policeman shot him. At least it’s the policeman doing the shooting which is ok.

Anyway for new year my family and I stayed in the hotel as too many people would be going out to the park.

After new year we got on a Norwegian Cruise liner and set sail to Freeport Bahamas which had all handmade souvenirs and  gifts to buy from a little village. The weather in the Bahamas wasn’t great until the last day. The next stop was Nassau which has the world famous Atlantis Hotel which is amazing. They also have a small town with some designer shops and souvenir shops. The final island was the Cruises private island called Grand Stirrup which is right next to Coco Bay which is the Royal Caribbean cruises ships private island. On the private island it was very hot and the beach was packed. I spent some of the day on a jet ski touring around the island with a group of people which was great fun as I love jet skiing.

I had an amazing time with some great experiences and spent a lot on shopping but it’s a lot cheaper in the states which is good.
