Febuary Purchases!

Jumpers from westfields
I have been wanting a wildfox couture jumper for months now but couldn’t justify spending £100 on a jumper well that was until I stepped into choice and checked through their sale rail to which I found wildfox jumpers and tops. I couldn’t beleive it as I have seen them online in the sale but they would either sell out quickly or they wouldn’t have the right sizes. I tried a number of them on and they were £48 or £38 which is quite good as they are around £90-£100. I decided on the cream jumper it is lovely the only problem is that it has to be hand washed and it’s very soft. I would definitely purchase another one again if it was in the sale.
For the summer I want to wear just jeans and light weight jumpers. I decided to look in warehouse for some cozy jumpers and I found a stripy one that was very comfortable. I paid £23 for the jumper as I used my staff discount.
I used to buy a lot from H & M but recently nothing has court my eye. I came across this bow top which I got in all black and the neckline is like a diamond shape which suits me alot. The top was only £9.99 which was great.
westfields purchases
This month I took a trip to Westfields and had a great time. It felt as if I was shopping in the states as there malls are massive and have great decor. I can’t stop myself from going into every lush store that I see and I have read many reviews on the valentines day lush products so I decided to buy the frog bath bomb that has a little message inside which was only £2.75.
I also bought a bow ring from Forever 21 which was only £2.40 and it reminds me of the hello kitty bow which is rather cute. The hair brush was also a £1 from Forever 21.
I have only seen one review so far on Kiko make up so I visited the store and found some coloured nail varnishes in the sale for £1.50 each and also a nail file for a £1.
The two hearts are from la senza and were 50p each they are scented and can be placed in clothing draws to keep your clothes smelling nice. zara lace cat topI got this top from Zara for £17 the lace cat mask is lovely. It’s a casual top that I can just wear to university with some jeans or shorts. They also have the same style top but with a butterfly and it comes in a light green colour.

These acrylic draws are from Muji online and they are the cheapest I have ever seem them these were £10.95 and with delivery they came to around £14 all together. For ages now I have been trying to sort all my beauty products out and they are currently in draws and in sweet jars. The draws are great quality as I have seen them on some youtube videos. I hope when my room is decorated I can get some more of these as the draws can be used for anything.

Here are the two nail varnishes that I bought from Accessorize the other week as they had 25% off in store on selected products. I have never really noticed that Accessorize had a beauty section until I noticed on their website. I decided to purchase some glittery nail varnish to get me in the Christmas spirit. I decided on purple as that’s my favourite colour and also a bronze as I thought gold was too much like Christmas. These two were £4 each but the pot is rather small and you have to put about 3 to 4 layers on before your whole nail is covered in glitter. After I applied a top coat the varnish stayed put for about 4 days and then it peeled off as I didn’t re-coat. Overall I will defiantly be buying more nail varnish from Accessorize as they do a great range of colours.

Purchases of the Week!

These are my purchases of the week. The other week I was looking at a blog of inspirational photographs of models and fashion and one of them was of this Elephant Ring which I loved so I googled it and I couldn’t find it and then I thought why not try Ebay and when I did I found it :) It was about $8 and came from Taiwan. It’s very cute and fits perfectly. It’s an Elephant wrapped around my finger..They have other animals to choose from such as cats, rabbits, snakes and hippos so I may buy some more soon.

I also bought something for the first time today in LUSH. I love looking at all the products and the smell in there is really nice but the price for some of the products is too expensive for what they are..I have watched many reviews on the Porridge Soap..So I tried it out and it is amazing just like everyone says.. The smell is really nice kind of like an Oat smell. Once I used it in the shower it left my skin really soft afterwards. It kind of reminds me of when I used to cut a pair of tights up and use one leg and pour in some natural oats and then tie the end of the leg up and use it in the shower/bath the oats would go all milky and leave your skin smooth..so that would be the cheaper option as for this little bit of soap it cost £2.95.

I then headed to Accessorize as I had a 25% off voucher and wanted to get these Panda slippers that I had seen online.

My next two purchases were from Debenhams and Tk Maxx. I found the perfect miss kg black heel boots with a little heel which are really comfortable. I then luckly found some Pixi make up on the bottom shelf at the back in Tk Maxx some of the boxes were ruined but I got two nail varnishes and an eye shadow they were £2.99 each which online they are £10 each.

Paul Smith Travel Notebook!

I saw this notebook on the Liberty website when I was interning there, for weeks I kept looking at it online and thinking that I loved the stamps and how they formed the countries. It’s quite expensive for a notebook and then I realised it was buy Paul Smith. I decided to go down to the stationary room to find the book. At first I did think it looked much better online as it looked more 3d. I found a smaller version of the book and decided to get that one instead and also used my staff discount aswell.

Chanel Mulberry Girl with a sprinkle of McQueen

mulberry lily bag, chanel rainboots, hello kitty

Here are my favourite pieces from my wardrobe where every item has some kind of story to it.

My first Designer handbag was the Mulberry Black Congo Bayswater which I got one year for Christmas which was from the Mulberry Sample Sale at Bond Street in London. This Bayswater is very sturdy and I have had it for a couple of years but becomes rather heavy when used as a day bag so now I only use the Bayswater for travelling.

I then wanted another Mulberry bag that I could use for evening and daytime but that was small but not too small. The oak seemed like a good choice as I don’t really have any brown bags. This is still my favourite bag but I wouldn’t advise getting it wet though.

My next purchase was the Chanel rain boots which I have only worn once so far to London but as winter is coming I’m sure I’d be wearing them a lot more. Chanel is my favourite designer in the World

My last designer bag is the Mulberry Black Lily and yes it is the same as my oak but I love the colour black as you can tell. Black goes with everything and the suede lining is lovely inside the bag. The black Lily I hope will be ok in the rain whereas the oak will become darker over time. This can also be a day bag, evening bag and a clutch bag.

My final purchase so far when it comes to designer shopping is the Alexander McQueen Classic Scarf. This was bought from Liberty Department Store as I interned there for four weeks in the summer, which made me entitled to the staff discount. So I thought I’ll only use the staff discount on items where I can never get the same amount of money off again unless I actually worked for Liberty. Prices in the USA were much higher than here so it seemed realistic to buy the scarf with the discount. For London Fashion Week I wore all black and my scarf and it completed the outfit perfectly. I’ve always wanted one and since his death it’s good to have something from his collection that is a classic piece.

I hope in the future to add to my collection as I’d rather save up for months for a designer classic than to buy lot’s of little things when shopping. I’m not a great fan of clothing as Handbags, Mulberry and Chanel are my weaknesses.

Print Jars <3

I have finally found some use for the two print jars I bought from Liberty, they now sit on my beauty table filled with two of my favourite brands Chanel and O.P.I.
I got the inspiration from the Chanel Exhibit at Harrods as they had Chanel Make-up in jars so thought it would be a good idea to store and display my products in them as they look quite good. Previous related post

Oasis Skirts

The other day I thought I’d shop online at Oasis and see what they had in their sale. I ended up buying a leopard print blouse in the sale, two skirts which were full price and a full price tweed skirt. I tried them on about 10 minutes ago and have decided to keep the two skirts as they are really nice. Here are the skirts.

Liberty Treats

As I have been interning at Liberty Head Office I have bought myself some treats. A woman in the office had a birthday and was bought one of the print jars which I loved from the first sight and new I had to get one or at least a pair even though I wasn’t sure what I’d use them for. They had three different size jars with three different prints I firstly bought one and then realised you can’t buy a jar with out buying a pair. I also thought I’d buy some O.P.I varnish as it’s rumoured to be the best and YES IT IS. I usually buy Chanel Nail varnish and O.P.I seems to last longer but then maybe that’s because I used the Top Coat with O.P.I next time I shall try the Top Coat with my Chanel Varnish..I also purchased two Sachajuan products. I’ll have my verdict on the hair repair product when I test it tonight and the volume powder is very good and keeps your hair fresh and volumised.
Here are some snaps.

Paris Treats from my Sister ‘s trip!

My sister and her boyfriend went to Paris for four days and I asked her to look out for an item from Chanel. Here is the reveal. The photos were taken on my phone so they are not the best quality.  I have worn them once to London when it was raining and they are comfy and great to wear.Chanel Bag
