It’s this time of year again where all the designers are preparing for their autumn/winter 2012 catwalk shows. Once again the main trade show will take place at Somerset House. I’ll be helping out again at Somerset house just for two days at London fashion week and then one day for the London fashion weekend which is opened to the public. Somerset House is a great place to hold the event as it just on the Embankment and the courtyard is a perfect size. Tiffany and Co has recently sponsored the Somerset House ice rink there this winter, which was amazing but rather cold. The main well known catwalks are normally situated in another location in London such as the Mulberry show and Burberry Show. The courtyard is open to the public on London fashion week so you can always come along and celebrity spot but you just wont be allowed in any of the designer rooms or recive a goodie bag.
I will be helping on the entrances and making sure the press and buyers know where to go to get press passes and what catwalks are on next and how to get there. Over all it is a great day out I just hope it doesn’t snow as I’ll be outside in the cold all day. I cant wait to help out and observe all the buyers and new upcoming designers who photograph their designs to try and get publisty and create some brand awareness for their label.
So come along to london fashion week as normally everyone thinks they can’t but around the catwalk building it’s all open and thats where all the best people are to see.

I will be traveling again in July to Norway on another cruise which i’m really excited about as there are some great views in Norway and I Love their norweigan hand cream. Here are some snaps from the cruise in the evening before dinner.
I was sent these gifts as I won her give away, she has also turned her illustration work into products that can be sold. The drawings are amazing and have lot’s of detail in them and are of the best quality there is. My favourite is the Skull mirror it’s really cute. The postcard is really bright so this will be going on my bedroom wall. I also love the style of the cupcakes. I was so excited as I have never won anything online before so it was quite a surprise. I’m very pleased with my merchandise and I will be checking out Jade’s work in the future.
