So yesterday was Easter Sunday and I have to admit I have been eating Ferrero eggs all week and there’s 10 in a packet and I bought 20 packets and ate them all in a couple of days. They were nice but I’m now regretting eating them all and not only that but my family noticed that I was always eating them and decided to buy me more for Easter as well I’m sure I can eat them all and just take up running again.
At the moment with my busy university schedule plus working part time on Saturdays, seeing friends, my boyfriend and always shopping online and out and about it can become hard to keep track of what your actually spending. So I have been trying to cut back but instead of stop buying stuff that I might need or even just want I’ll try and use my student discount card, my staff discount card, discount codes online and vouchers. So I can still go out to eat and still go shopping but to try and not pay full price for something unless I really have too. I had a great valentines day at university after lessons we decided to go to Biscuit which is a cafe where you pick what item you want to paint. We decided to paint a mug half each which took some time as we did it wrong 
The cafe was packed with couples and families painting mugs and plates. It was a great experience and fun to do so i would recommend it but it can be quite expensive so probably wont be an every week hobby but its great to do for a couple of hours. After painting the mug we took a walk to the park it was quite cold but I love to walk around parks as it’s really relaxing. We exchanged gifts which was strange as I had made a fortune cookie and wrote a message inside and one of my presents was a chinese doll with a message inside so we both got little messages. As you all know my favourite things are chocolate, oriental products and pandas so I loved the presents. Overall it was my first valentines with someone and it was low key but a great day

As everyone knows it’s nearly Febuary 14th which is my favourite day of the year, even though it should be celebrated everyday. It was my birthday the other day and here are some of the gifts I recieved, i got mostly money as I don’t really need anything at the moment. I have not yet been out for my birthday but it’s on hold and it will be a trip to Bicester Village and a trip to the Godiva Cafe in Harrods. I had a great birthday and ate way too much cake. I’m a little sad that I’m never going to be a teen again and that I’m half way to 40 already but I have achieved so much and traveled so far in that time so I’m pleased with that which makes me a little happier about my age.

Here are some of my snow day photos from the 5th february when it finally snowed in Britain. I ended up walking to Marks and Spencers with my family and taking the sledge to put all the shopping bags in. Along the way other people had the same idea. It was great to get out and have a walk everyone looked like they were having fun in the snow. I’m not sure if the snow is going to last any longer than a day but it was nice to get out as it wasn’t that cold either.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
It’s been a long time since I have BLOGGED. Over xmas I had way too much coursework to do and even did work all of xmas day and boxing day. After this I jetted off to Miami for 10 days where I spent 5 days in Miami for New Year and then a 4 day cruise around the Bahamas! So here I’am back in the cold UK and not very tanned either. I once again have busy plans coming up so I will try and blog as much and as frequently as I can. University is kinda stressful at the moment so most of my time needs to be focused on that which doesn’t leave much time for blogging. I also want to start a beauty review website, travel website and a photography website that is separate from my blog. University is finished after march so then when I’m not interning most of my time will be creating the other websites.

Christmas Holidays
Every year Christmas is at my nan’s house and the whole family get together about 20 of us and we sit, eat and cook dinner, open presents after dinner and stay up all night watching tv and playing cards. I also open presents in the morning at my house before I go to my nans. This year I got Bose inear headphones which I have always wanted and lots of dollars for Miami. On boxing day I went shopping as I have never been before on boxing day and I don’t think I’ll be going again as the sales weren’t great and the traffic and parking took some time. I did end up buying about 5 gift sets from Lush as I’m a little obsessed with their products as they are great to use and finally a Superdry top from choice and that was about it.
NEW YEAR
New Year plans were in Miami and my family and I were meant to go to a park near our hotel which had a count down and also an orange wearing sunglasses moved to the top of the hotel and lights up. Having watched the news and were told that 107,000 people were turning up we decided to give it a miss so we went out for a meal and sat and watched tv in our hotel room and watched the count down on the tv. So we had a quiet night in for new year.
Miami
On the 28th I jetted off to Miami for a 10 day trip with my family. I stayed in Miami for 5 days where I did plenty of shopping, also went to the Everglades where I saw two alligators and to a shooting range which I didn’t do. After new year I took a cruise to the Bahamas for 4 days but the weather was only good on the last day which was a beach island and I spent some of that day jet skiing around the island which was great fun. Once the ship docked it was straight to do some last minute shopping and some lunch at Denny’s diner then to the airport to fly home.

The other week I was volunteering at Somerset House at the Skate Workshop which is where around 60 school children come to the learning centre and are shown how to keep safe on the ice rink when skating. They then go ice skating in their timed slots and come back to the learning centre to do some art and crafts. There are a couple of art rooms filled with materials for the children to use to create what ever the topic might be for that day, so one day it could be making animal masks and the next day it could be making lanterns. Here are some photographs of the art room where I made a lantern and showed off my pompom skills and showed the people that worked there how to make them. As I have posted about pompoms before as I learned it from Youtube. I love volunteering at Somerset House as I have meet so many lovely people who really enjoy what they do. I would recommend it to anyone. At the moment I cant help out as much as I like to but in the Summer I will spend more time their as it’s a great way to meet new people and to help the general public.

So the other day I FINALLY had a chance to go shopping in the evening as I have been so busy with university recently. I ended up going to Tk maxx, Accessorize, Whsmiths, Home Sense, Debenhams and H&M. I found a couple of great pieces which will be in my next post. Here are just some random images I took along the way. I finished the shopping trip off with a trip to Costa for a nice Hot Chocolate. I love sitting in Costa and Starbucks at Christmas time as it’s all xmasy and cosy it’s a great place to sit and chat with a hot drink to keep you warm. I ended up not getting any xmas presents for anyone so looks like I’ll have to go shopping again soon…
